Mecseri Art aims to respect and protect your privacy. This Pivacy Policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please carefully read this Privacy Policy in order to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat your personal data except as set out below, we do not share, or sell, or disclose to a third party, any personally identifiable information collected at this site.

• This is a notice to inform you of our policy about all information that we record about you. It sets out the conditions under which we may process any information that we collect from you, or that you provide to us. It covers information that could identify you (“personal information”) and information that could not. In the context of the law and this notice, “process” means collect, store, transfer, use or otherwise act on information.

• We take seriously the protection of your privacy and confidentiality. We understand that all visitors to our website are entitled to know that their personal data will not be used for any purpose unintended by them,and will not accidentally fall into the hands of a third party.

• Our policy complies with Hungarian law accordingly implemented, including that required by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information we process with your consent

 

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; computer and connection information and e-mail address, if you use the contact form. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We only collect personally identifiable information if you send us an e-mail by using the „Contact form” (including name, email, communications). We use Google Analytics to collect and process visitor data.

 

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

• To provide and operate the Services;

• To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

• To be able to contact our Visitors and Users;

• To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we may use to provide and improve our respective services;

Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to show our paintings to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s and Google Inc.'s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

 

Information we process for the purposes of legitimate interests

We may process information on the basis there is a legitimate interest, either to you or to us, of doing so.

 

Where we process your information on this basis, we do after having given careful consideration to:

• whether the same objective could be achieved through other means

• whether not processing might cause you harm

Accordingly data obtained within the EU could be processed outside the European Union.

For example, some of the software our website uses may have been developed in the United States of America or in Australia.

We only collect personally iddentifiable information if you send us an e-mail or, if you use the contact form on our website.

When we receive any request to access, edit or delete personal identifiable information we shall first take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting you access or otherwise taking any action. This is important to safeguard your information.

When you contact us by e-mail or via the contact form, we collect the data you have given to us in order to reply with the information you need. We record your request and our reply in order to increase efficiency. We keep personally identifiable information associated with your message, such as your name and email address so as to be able to track our communications with you to provide a high-quality service.

When we receive a complaint, we record all the information you have given to us.

We use that information to resolve your complaint.

Use of site by children
